hmmm I am guessing that with the last arc they are making a lot of changes to what is in the novel, I dont recall Qin Ming's outing with his students, why on earth will they add a filler when the episode duration is shorten??

Oh I am not exactly sure why this episode is still shorten when they stated episde 203 (season 2 episode 177) will be back to normal, I can hazard a guess that it is something to do with the extended lockdown in Shanghai. There's no announcement on their weibo account at the time of this post

And for those who missed my post or is interested, season 3 of Wu Dong Qian Kun is being released on the 1st May 2022

Hell yeah, S03 of Martial Universe is going to be incredible, it's kind of up there with
Doupo Cangqiong (BTTH) so I'm excited!!

Also I actually liked this episode and Qin Ming's fight against those pricks, he was brutal and showed his strength that I didn’t know he had!!

Note ♠️ • 2 years ago

This is why I like this guy..... thanks alot I've been waiting for martial universe 3......

Regarding the shorten of Douluo dalu episode, I'm curious to know why ,cos I can't wrapped my head around this useless 9min long skit call episode, it's now becoming unbearable, imagine waiting a whole week for just an episode and all you're given is a 9min play.... it's bad, Fight break sphere episodes are at least 23mins, and when douluo dalu started, their episode too worth something but this doesn't make sense anymore, I wish someone can contact them and tell them it's, nonsensical to shorten the duration for each episode

Dase • 2 years ago

The episodes are short because the studio is currently being affected by lockdown in Shanghai due to covid restrictions, a few people and myself have been posting why Tunshi XIngkong and Soul Land were affected for the past three weeks.

People are actually starving or have starved to death because of the lockdowns, they are not allowed to leave their homes, so they cant buy any food, cant go to work etc, so I would say they have other priorities other than to make a normal duration episode, the episode 203 (season 2 episode 177) was supposed to go back to normal but the lockdown was extended so this is why the episodes is short. In this trying time please be patient and understanding

OfficialDrixMalone • 2 years ago

You must be a troll and/or stupid when you seen WHY that was to a comment you replied to stating it, gah damn, forget those extra 5-10 minutes smh!! We're lucky we get any episodes at all.

Note ♠️ • 1 year ago

You're really stupid for saying this guy, I don't give the fuck who you are , fuck you, fuck all ya family, you must be drunk when replying my comment, it's mine I didn't fucking address any to you goddamn nitwit.....

OfficialDrixMalone • 1 year ago

Well that was mean😱, why did you say f*ck my whole family (I have A LOT too)🥺, what they do to you lmao?? Wait, did I say who I was, who did I say I was (though if you knew you'd be sh!tting bricks asking forgiveness on your knees)?? The Tang San I know doesn't get overly emotional and can control himself much better than you can, are you possibly an imposter 😯🤔??

Also you should be nicer to your elders kid, it's not nice to curse and insult and rage out on online, and over something so irrelevant. Especially since there's weirdos online that would get angry and obtain your IP address that your comment left behind and find your home and actually f*ck you and your family while probably drunk and doesn't care about their freedom. Gotta be careful and know who're dealing with because you might wig out on the wrong person and your family could pay for it ending up missing, and no one wants TS to get erased from existence over something so petty right. Maybe you're upset because you haven't resurrected your bunny girlfriend yet, but just hang in there, you'll get her back one day in the future episodes, I think. I know you're heartbroken, it's understandable but keep it together, life will get better, well unless you're not really Tang San...🤔🤨. If you're a fake then 🖕🏽off and have a good day, toodles 😁!!

Note ♠️ • 1 year ago

😂😂😂....you should be nicer when replying people online, one thing brought us together here...... Sorry for blowing hot....but I don't care who you are and what you can do, it's probably cos you've never met people who can erase you just with a finger snap, but I'm not in for violence.....have a nice day kiddo

Smiley Face • 2 years ago

Bruh! You replied to Dase's comments that mentioned that the production of the series might be affected by the lockdown in Shanghai, it is where the studio is based near

douluo • 2 years ago

Oh $hit...

I fear this added material featuring Qin Ming has a singular purpose: to injure or even kill him at the hands of Ghost Douluo so the latter becomes villain enough to justify TS running him through with the SG Trident, which is coming soon...I'm praying Qin Ming makes it out alive, somehow, because I love that guy, but he has no chance against Gui Mei. This isn't looking good.

[edit] thinking on it, the problem with this theory is that to be effective TS would have to get word of Ghost Douluo's encounter with Qin Ming before his first battle with Bibi. And I don't see that happening without serious revisions to the novel's events--he and XW first land in the Haagen-Dazs Empire, a long way geographically. I'm wondering now if Qin Ming is simply a paver for TS going Asura in West Lu City and others in the coming episodes.

Gonna be interesting to see what they do here...

Dase • 2 years ago

NUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuu.......!!!!

Surely the developers got a lot of content they can put into the donghua as filler instead of harming Qin Ming, like kill of Xiao Wu again, or they going to change up the confrontation between the seven Shreks and the Spirit Hall, allowing them to come to Qin Ming's rescue Not sure why we are putting spoiler tags since we are speculating something that isnt even in the novel :P

douluo • 2 years ago

LOL, IKR that just hit me 😂.

I sure hope my theory is wrong, but I can't think of another reason why they'd add two full scenes with Qin Ming, followed by Ghost Douluo's appearance. I have a terrible feeling about this...

Then again, I get fooled nearly every time LOL.

Dase • 2 years ago

It will be odd that they do something permanent to Qin Ming given that he didnt die, well then again nothing was mentioned about his status in the novel. apart from taking a small part in the war, so I guess it is left open
But we'll see :)

douluo • 2 years ago

Yeah our rebel alliance doesn't exactly have a deep leadership bench, which means they'd almost have to keep him alive for the war, so that gives me hope. Maybe a couple of those students can get back to camp in time for more powerful SM's to help QM, idk..

Dase • 2 years ago

They are hyping Qin Ming's fight up on their weibo account with the trailer at the end of the episode, so if anything happens to him... I dont think many people will be too pleased, I know I wont be having gone through the arduous and painful journey of the Sea God Trials just to see this.

I know they are trying to show the massive changes before and after Tang San and group going to the Sea God Island, and how overbearing the Martial Spirit Hall is, but they've always been like that lol I would have preferred that Tang San found out the changes when he was at the city occupied by the MSH like in the novel

douluo • 2 years ago

YES indeed! While I wasn't exactly a fan of the SG Trials in general (compared to the rest of the material), the insular experience provided for some good shock candy when they return to the mainland and learn what has transpired in their absence. That was really satisfying from the reader's perspective and one of my favorite parts.

Dase • 2 years ago

Exactly, it would have been better for the viewers to see their reactions, rather than be shown in this episode, it feels like a spoiler lol

douluo • 2 years ago

That was the reason I never cared for their learning what was happening on the mainland during the SG Trials (in their penthouse quarters lol). I don't remember them ever receiving correspondence/news from the mainland in the novel--did they ever get word? I can't remember..

Dase • 2 years ago

No they never did hear anything about the outside world while they were on the Sea God Island, chapter 254 is where the talk about not knowing and Tang San felt the urge to return home, but Mubai just said we'll find out when we return and not to worry

Then Tang San takes Xiao Wu and goes to Lu city where he finds out about the Martial Spirit empire and you know the rest, Tang Chen, parents etc lol :)

vio • 2 years ago

It looks like this is the weekend of decent fights in donghua, first we had Wanmei Shijie, now douluo dalu and next we have the last episode of Yong Sheng.

Dase • 2 years ago

Mhm, Fanren will be released soon that should have more fights
Yeah Yong Sheng's final episode for the season buuuuuuuuuuuuuu
But lot's of new releases at the end of the month so that's still something lol

Youtube Addict • 2 years ago

Fanren is tragic right now! Third bro died although I saw it coming just as I see Qin Ming’s now. But then again, I should be immune by now with the number of deaths since the show started.

Dase • 2 years ago

Wait til you watch Yong Sheng episode 12.....
What is with these artistic licences these days? They planning on doing a Game of Throne style of adaptation?

vio • 2 years ago

Just a shame though because unless they are good ones I'd probably still prefer to continue watching Yong Sheng.

Dase • 2 years ago

Yeah and there's no detail about a second season, not even on weibo, I am sure there will be, given that the author has written many novels but hopefully we only need to wait the same amount of time as Fanren's seasons :)

douluo • 2 years ago

OMG learning Yong Sheng was ending ruined my week lol.

vio • 2 years ago

yea just wait till you see the episode and hold that thought. :P

Zeta • 2 years ago

I was in tears

vio • 2 years ago

I thought you said previously that Qin Ming dies and tan san gets revenge during the comments last episode. I was thinking that it would happen in this episode or next when he is killed.

Dase • 2 years ago

I did? Weird... lemmie check.... Oh No no, lol It was Da Ming and Er Ming I was talking about, not Qin Ming

vio • 2 years ago

I was getting confused by that considering the current messages lol

douluo • 2 years ago

Yeah Qin Ming...probably...we hope...will be a part of the final battle. He almost has to be. But Er Ming and Da Ming's deaths are brutal. Bring tissues..

Then there are two more MC deaths that are even worse but that's much later..

Dase • 2 years ago

Bring a forest of tissues

Divine • 2 years ago

If I am right about who you are talking about, those two deaths are really unnecessary, could have severely injured them, but no had to kill them off and Tang San gets to be revived because of Rongrong able to revive one person every year or something? Tang Jia San Shao being lame during this last arc

douluo • 2 years ago

Yep Sword and Bone Douluo. My eyebrow was definitely twitching intermittently lol. I mean...Bibi could have ended them all right there but instead give them an out. I suppose that *could* add to her character complexity if they make it clear she's doing it for XG, because I don't remember any other explanation lol. There definitely was more than a hint of deux ex machina with TS's resurrection.

Dase • 2 years ago

Yeah I feel the same way

vio • 2 years ago

lol from previous messages posted I know tissues are a necessity when we get to that part. In all honesty, I'm actually looking forward to that part of the story just to see the look on the faces of them when he gets 2 more 100k rings and spirit bones if I remember right.

douluo • 2 years ago

Indeed I can't wait to see Bibi's face lol. Two 100k rings and two spirit bones, the most powerful we've seen, snatched right under her nose 😂. Then at SH, Hu Liena is expecting to get raked over the coals by Bibi, the latter says "don't worry, I face planted too". LMAO

Dase • 2 years ago

lol all good, I was like, it cant be, cause Qin Ming is such a minor character that I dont recall writing much about him, then I went ok let's check, and waded through my thousands of posts, using Find, then realised stupid spoilers didnt show it, then had to move the mouse over them and I hoped that it was in just Soul Land's episodes that I posted LOL then I found it, and I double checked, one of the my summary spoilers didnt have it, and I breathed a sigh of relief lol

Youtube Addict • 2 years ago

Ikr, this to me is rather obvious. They are paving the way for more “deaths”, it’s more like a warm-up to more shockers. Judging the way the donghua behaves, the next two deaths will be even more tragic and heartbreaking. Although to be honest, those two beasties didn’t do it for me because I see it coming after XW sacrificed herself. But the scene with bone and sword Douluo had me crying out loud “WTF”!

Of course I do hope my speculation is wrong as I really like that guy too!
Keeping Qin Ming in the storyline is one of the many aces of the donghua compared to the novel. In the novel, he is just like a plot device, used once and was quickly rendered obsolete. I bet the author has forgotten that he ever existed.

But on a different note, the battle of the royals with Bibi Dong is really not necessary. Like there’s just no way those generals or guards could protect Xue Beng or the other two royals for a matter of fact, if MSH sent their top dogs. So I don’t see what that particular scene is trying to achieve. Maybe to further consolidate the villainy of Bibi Dong but at this point, I just want to see TS kick some asses.

douluo • 2 years ago

Yeah exactly. My first thought was that they planned to use Qin Ming here as a paver to Ghost Douluo's death, but it may be more likely a tool for TS's upcoming rampage through the H.Daz kingdom.

I had the same take on the royal battles. I like the fact that they're showing the beginnings of the Heaven Dou x Xing Luo alliance and preparations against SH, but the scenes of Bibi storming through the Five Plains with battalions of SMs and Spirit Beasts was a bit much LOL--she never had to leave her throne. I mean...yeah there *may* have been pockets of resistance in remote cities, but 90% or better would have fallen via corruption, influence, and fear rather than actual war in the years Shrek was absent. Even West Lu City, the central stronghold of the H.Daz kingdom, is kept subdued by SH with a few dozen SMs. Only their leader is a Spirit Sage and probably 80% of the rest are below Spirit Kings. TS was a Spirit Sage killer even when he was a Spirit King 🤣

Syed MH • 1 year ago

Ok so Qin Ming is now a Great Soul Land Master (Spirit Doulou) but why they are killing him in Donghau when he is still alive in Manhua😭. I’m sick of these 2 Grand Soul Masters, Gui Mei and Yue Guan. Please if u want to make changes then kill these 2😂.

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 2 years ago

Too short, need more (○` 3′○)

Dase • 2 years ago

Might be due to covid that it is still shortened, it was supposed to go back to the normal duration

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 2 years ago

Yep but usually when it gets uploaded here it takes a while for normal length one.

Dase • 2 years ago

Not so sure, I watched a Chinese site and on some youtube videos, they were short as well, oh well hopefully there is a full length episode out there, if it exist

vio • 2 years ago

that site I watch with the funny subs has the full video @ 15 minutes 52 seconds.
